Though Revenue Department’s main function is management of land & land records ,it has to look after many socio - economic programmes of the Government and the department has to heed to the day to day problems both of individuals as well as the society.
People approach various offices of the Revenue Department with many of their problems either individual in nature or relating to the society at large and urge for the redressal of the same.
Some of the examples are given below, which the Revenue Department comes across in its day to day administration.
|Q.||Who is day to day administation competent to sanction OHP/PHP/DWP and what is the procedure?|
|A.||The Tahsildar and Deputy Tahsildar of Nad Kachery are the sanctioning authority. The applicant has to apply for sanction of pension in the prescribed Form, which are available in these offices|

|A.||In the Rural area the Tahasildar and in the District places Informal Rationing Officer is the issuing authority of Ration Cards.|

|A.||The Tahasildar is the issuing authority of these certificates. The applicant has to apply for the said certificates in the prescribed Form which are available in the Tahasildar’s Office|

|A.||For other than Registered Documents, the applicant has to give application to the application Kiosk located in the Tahasildar’s office and has to wait for minium 30 days from the date of issue of Notice generated in “Bhoomi center” for the changes in the Record of Rights. Along with the application, the applicant has to pay Rs.35/- fees for each Survey No..|

|A.||The applicant has to approach the “Kiosk Centers’’ of Tahasildar’s Office /Nad-Kachery. The applicant has to pay Rs.15/- for each R/R extract, (Computerized copy)|

|A.||The affected person has to apply to the Tahasildar for compensation, if not sanctioned by the authorities suo-moto.|

|A.||There was provision for regularization of encroachments on Forest Lands prior to 27-4-1978 only.|

|A.||The applicant has to submit application to the Deputy Commissioner in the prescribed Form. He has to wait for 120 days from the date of Receipt of application by the Deputy Commissioner.|

|A.||Now the Government has introduced new procedure of “Integrated Mutation" under Bhoomi wherein Pot-hissa (Phodi) is done along with Mutation Entry automatically in the Record of rights.|

The aggrieved party may prefer an Appeal against the Order to the Applate Authority, for which the following are to be complied.He has to file appeal petition. He has to pay appeal fee process fee etc., He has to enclose certified copy of the Order under appeal. He has to enclose application for condontation of delay with affidavit if any, Stay application if requested.
